The Fibromyalgia Community site is a privately developed website originally designed to support the Fibrom-L email support group.

In the last 2 years The Fibromyalgia Community has become a one stop source for information and resources about Fibromyalgia and now has a twice monthly newsletter with over 2500 subscribers.

Over the years we have helped over 550,000 people find support and help with their subscription questions for the listserv. I myself, remember finding the Fibromyalgia link in Devin Starlanyl's book. It opened up a whole new world of support and information for me, we would like to keep this alive for other, newly diagnosed folks who need answers and help from experienced FM survivors.

  We try to provide current information, research, notices of upcoming conferences, the newest books published and any advocacy or political issues that will affect our healthcare or lifestyle.  We are proud of our efforts to educate and hope we can continue to do so for a long time. We are working to improve and expand the site and we know we can only make it better.

   Until now, this site has been maintained and funded by private individuals with FM and overlapping disorders. These individuals paid for the domain name and continue to pay the monthly fees for the server space, out of their own pockets. We now find ourselves short of funding and unsure of the future of this website.

   Our future looks brighter, as we have recently partnered with the CSSA a 501 c (3) non-profit organization dedicated to education for FM/CMP and umbrella disorders. Our partnership with the CSSA will allow us to stay alive, with your help.

3) Use The Fibromyalgia Community Store You can support the website and promote the Fibromyalgia ListServ group, and educate those you come in contact with, by ordering a Fibromyalgia Community T-shirt, sweatshirt, coffee mug or other items from our online store.

The site owner and site webmaster receive no portion of funds from this site, ALL work is done on a volunteer basis.
